Dear Shareholder,
The AGM of the Killeen Group Water Scheme will be held on Monday 22nd June 2026 in the Killeen Community Centre at 8.30pm. You are sincerely invited to attend. We also welcome anyone considering becoming a board member (please follow the procedure outlined below).
As a member of this scheme, you are bound by the terms of the scheme, including payment of outstanding monies in order to secure your supply. The Board would like to thank all members who are up to date with their payments, and to point out to others, that failure to pay your Water Charges or your Capital Replacement Charge can result in your expulsion from the GWS. This is a community owned scheme, and it must be fair and equitable to all members.

Election of Members to the Board:
Under Rule 13 (C) of our rules at least one third of the Board shall retire each year, (Sal O’Malley, Patricia Needham and Majella Tiernan will be retiring this year) but are eligible for re-election without nomination. Nominations for the board, other than retiring members must be in writing and must be signed by a proposer and a seconder (both members) and must contain a statement by the member nominated of his or her willingness to be elected.
Nominations must be forwarded to: The Managers, Killeen GWS, Doughmakeon, Louisburgh, Co.Mayo, to be received a minimum of 3 days prior to the AGM.
